☝️1️⃣ The house always wins. Why play against the house? And houses are unaffordable. Why buy a house – when one could build something with more advanced technology than banks use. (Bitcoin updates every 10 minutes and traditional financial systems can take days to weeks.)

✌️2️⃣ Distract, attack, and drain. The carpet is ugly on purpose…to divert attention to the blinkey lights and one armed bandits. Watch out for digital and physical bandits. Wrench Attack (h/t James Lopp (watch out for Lopp virtual impersonators on the wires)).

🙌4️⃣ Social Engineering – watch out for people trying to like you, for people asking a lot of questions, for people asking for a small favor. For example, if someone asks you to buy something in dollars in return for Bitcoin, this could be sign of an attack. They might even refuse to pay you via Bitcoin Lightning network despite the lower fees and quicker time to completion (not because they are a true Bitcoin Maximalist), but because it is a method to see your Bitcoin address and how much you custody. The favors might start as small, but their ask may grow. This is both a cybersecurity and physical security threat. (h/t Saylor). That’s why at SatoshiO’s Cereal we use Zaprite.
